New Policy
If you would like to continue visiting this site, you will now need to participate by either uploading an image, posting a comment, adding a favorite link or donating a few bucks to this site. (the later, probably the most avoided choice of all.) Too many people just wanting something for nothing these days ~ well, times have changed. Enjoy while you can ~ I`ve been getting alot of hits and basically all it`s doing is eating up bandwidth on my server. The new policy is this... I`m going to allow visitors to visit Old Stock Cars five times.. after your fifth time here, your pretty much out of visits.. and not making much of a contribution to this site. What I might do next is, if a visitor uploads an image during the first five visits, I`ll reset their visits and allow them another five or If a visitor makes a donation I will remove them from the list and they can visit as often as they like.October 11, 2008, 12:17 pm

I don`t get much feedback on what`s going on around here so I really can`t tell if the changes are really stupid or what?? OldStockCars Desktop Extension

Coming soon! This desktop program (for Windows XP) is an extension to OldStockCars website. Now you can view all uploaded images without the hassle of loading a browser. This program has a few other features you might find useful. You can store your favorite sites and access them right from the taskbar icon. You can also store your username's and password's for the different sites you have saved and password protect them with a single password. Password protected sites will only open if the correct password is entered. You can store email address's that will open your default email program when accessed. There is also an area for leaving notes about the site you have saved. Other options include a browse onload feature. When this checkbox is checked the saved site will open your browser and load the site unless you have enabled the password protection upon creating the favorite. OldStockCars T-Shirts
Mike Bremkamp made a wonderful suggestion to me about offering T-shirts and i've made a few calls around trying to find out just what it might cost.
I'm currently disabled due to a back injury from so many years of framing houses and I don't have the money to get anything done at this time. The shirts I would offer would look something like the one to the right. I'm also considering including a bumper stickers that would match. I'm going to try to raise the money to offer shirts so if you would like to make a donation and help me out. Please click this link and donate whatever you can. Just a suggestion. If you havent already done this, I think a great thing to help promote and advertise your site would be to get some good quality T~shirts done up and sell them. I know I would buy a couple of them. I would love to be able to help bring this great new site out into the light a bit more. and have already taken a small step for you.. Welcome again! The image slide show should be complete. Although Im not sure how it is working for others, it seems to be working fine for me. I am planning on a few changes. Site Changes
You might notice a few things have changed around here. I added the comments area and displayed the number of comments posted on the home page. Also changed the upload display status from days into a total upload number. I did the same with visitors. Now it displays a total instead of by the day. I added a captcha to the upload area. Not that there was an issue there.. I just thought it should be there. If you feel any of these changes to be a problem.. please let me know and I will see what I can do to make it right.
